Shauna D'Arcy
Interim Executive Director

Shauna, also known around camp as D'Arcy, began their journey at Quinipet in 2017 as a Counselor. After rising through seasonal leadership roles, they joined our full-time staff as Program Director in 2021. They earned a Masters Degree in Camp Administration and Leadership to better serve the camp community. Recognized for their contributions to Quinipet and the broader camp industry, they received the 2024 Michael Gordon Young Leaders Award from the American Camp Association of New York/New Jersey.

Lauren Traskos
​Retreats and Registration Coordinator

Lauren's passion for camp and youth development started at the YMCA where she has worked as both a program and camp director. Originally from Massachusetts, Lauren has called Shelter Island home since 2015. She started her journey with Quinipet in January of 2023 and thrives on making a positive impact as a fulltime team member. As a dedicated mom of two, she is thrilled to be a part of an environment that allows children to grow, learn, and most importantly, have fun!

Reggie Johnson
Food Service Manager

Reggie is a native of Wetumpka, Alabama. He began his camping adventure at a YMCA camp as a camper. 14 years later he worked up the ladder and was hired as their Hospitality Director. Reggie is an AmeriCorps alumni and a Culinary School graduate. Reggie worked as a Camp Food Service Director in North Carolina before joining the Quinipet team.
