Connect-2-Camp is a partnership between Camp Quinipet and United Methodist Churches to provide engaging and meaningful summer camp experiences to families and youth whom otherwise may not have had the opportunity!

To enroll your camper...

To enroll your camper please complete ALL of the following forms. Spots are limited and your enrollment is not confirmed until you receive acceptance email.
Once ALL forms are completed you will receive an email confirming your camper's enrollment.

Por favor completa TODAS las formas siguientes. Los espacios son limitados y tu registro no está confirmado hasta que recibas un correo electrónico de confirmación.

What to bring...

  • Backpack
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sun protection (ex. sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, etc.)
  • Bug Spray
  • Extra change of clothes (just in case!)
  • Shoes with backs- NO Flip Flops (ex. sneakers, sandals, etc.)

Qué traer...

  • Mochila
  • Botella de agua reusable
  • Protección solar (Protector solar, gafas de sol, sombrero, etc.)
  • Spray contra insectos
  • Cambio de ropa (Por si de caso)
  • Zapatos con soporte (NO sandalias, crocs, etc.)

What to expect...

8-9am- Drop Off (Parents drop off campers at New Canaan UMC with C2C Staff anytime between 8 and 9am)
9-9:15am- Morning Gathering (All campers get together to get energized for the day. Sing songs, play a game, talk about the days theme and split into their groups..)
9:15-11:30- Activity Blocks (Camper Groups move to different activities every 45 minutes. Activities include 4 different categories: Arts, Sports/Games, Outdoor ED/STEM, SEL & Mindfulness. 
11:30am- Lunch (Provided by the Camp Staff and Church Volunteers)
12pm- Rest Time (Campers are encouraged to take some time to rest and relax after lunch. Whether playing a card game, drawing, journaling, etc.)
12:30-2pm- Activity Blocks
2pm- Religious Component and Snack
2:45pm- All Camp Activity (Special event that changes each day)
3:45pm- Pack-Up and Wrap-Up (Campers pack up belongings and debrief with their groups)
4:00pm- Pick Up

Qué esperar/Horario

8-9am - Entrada (Parientes traen a lxs campers en New Canaan UMC con el staff de C2C en cualquier momento entre 9 y 9am)
9-9:15am - Reunión Matutina (Todxs lxs campers se juntan para iniciar el día con energía: cantar canciones, jugar, hablar sobre el tema del día y dividirse en grupos)
9:15 - Bloques Temáticos (Grupos de campistas hacen diferentes actividades cada 45 minutos. Las actividades incluyen 4 categorías diferentes: Artes, Deportes/Juegos, Aire libre, STEM (Ciencia y naturaleza), Educación Socioemocional y Mindfulness.
11:30am - Lunch (Proporcionado por el Staff del Camp y voluntarixs de la iglesia)
12pm - Descanso (Lxs campers son impulsadxs a descansar un momento y relajarse después de lunch, ya sea jugando cartas, dibujando, escribiendo, etc.)
12:30 - 2pm: Bloques Temáticos
2pm - Componente Religioso y Snack
2:45 - Actividad General (Evento especial que cambia cada día)
3:45pm - Empacar y Conclusión del Día (Campers empacan sus pertenencias y reflexionan con sus grupos)
